Was reading Checkmate, The third book in Malorie Crossman’s Noughts and Crosses series Wow. Just wow. She’s an amazing writer… It took me a while to get hold of what was going on, cause the book starts at the ending (if that makes sense) and then backtracks about 9 years and then plays the story forward from there, showing little clips, until it ends well, at the ending.
